What does it mean to be a man today?

Masculinity is evolving, but many men still face challenges in how they see themselves. We have run a new wave of our monitor to see how results have changed since 2023. Our latest research reveals that while younger men feel represented in media and have strong role models, older men often feel invisible. Many men—especially younger generations—are also struggling with identity, with social media shaping conflicting ideas of masculinity. Mental health remains a major issue, yet as men age, their willingness to talk about their struggles declines.
